The Performance of Plastic with the Strength
of Metal
Manufactured by IPEX to AWWA C903, Q-Line is the only water
service tubing in North America that delivers the strength of
metal and the durability of thermoplastic. What’s more, because
it eliminates the shortcomings of traditional piping materials,
Q-Line is superior to them all.
Q-Line is made with a unique high temperature (HT) polyethylene
plastic. Its structure features a flexible aluminum core,
sandwiched between layers of durable polyethylene plastic.
Plastic on the inner and outer layers provides the best
corrosion resistance against aggressive water and soil
conditions. The aluminum core provides strength, flexibility,
and a permanent barrier against water supply contamination from
ground source pollutants. This unique formulation also allows
Q-Line to have both cold and hot water pressure ratings.
Q-Line connects effortlessly to existing and recognized
municipal valves on the market and is currently available in ¾”
and 1” diameters. Designed for long-term continuous operating
pressure of 200 psi at 73° and 100 psi at 180°, it provides
outstanding safety compared to conventional water service lines.
Q-Line’s elevated temperature rating ensures that any hot water
from the building that backs up into the water service tubing
will not cause damage.
