GOLD STRIPE PE PIPE
IPEX Gold Stripe service line tubing features a permanent gold stripe identification and sequential numbering system along the length of the tubing, that will not wear off even in harsh environments. The gold colored stripe is actually built into the pipe wall, permanently identifying the water service line.
Made of lightweight, easy-to-handle polyethylene, Gold Stripe tubing does not pit, corrode or deteriorate due to oxidation or chemical attack. As a result, with a Hazen-Williams coefficient of C=150, its smooth interior walls provide superior flow over the life of the system.
Gold Stripe service line tubing is quick and easy to join using brass or Philmac™ compression fittings, with specially designed stainless steel or copper tube size (CTS) plastic inserts that reinforce the tubing at the joint.
Third-party tested and CSA certified to B137.1, IPEX Gold Stripe service line tubing is pressure rated to 160 psi @ 72ºF and provides a short-term burst safety factor of 4 to 1. Conveniently available in both coils and reels, and manufactured in copper tube sizes from ¾" to 2".
