BLUE BRUTE PIPE & FITTINGS
Immune to damage from corrosive soils, electrochemical action and galvanic corrosion, IPEX Blue Brute™ AWWA C900 PVC pressure pipe is engineered with large reserves of strength. Long-term hydrostatic strength provides a generous safety factor of 2.5 to 1. In addition, Blue Brute™ pressure systems offer tremendous ability to absorb short-term surges, with a safety factor of 4 to 1.
Blue Brute™ AWWA C907 injection molded fittings exhibit the same long-term hydrostatic strength as Blue Brute™ pipe, with walls at least 125% of the wall thickness of Class 150 C900 pipe of the same size. Blue Brute™ AWWA C900 fabricated fittings are also available.
Blue Brute™ pressure pipe is hydrostatically proof tested to 4 times its pressure
class ensuring the absolute integrity of every length of pipe that goes into the ground. Joints are rated at 5 times the pressure class of the pipe. Available in CIOD sizes from 4" to 12" (100 mm to 300 mm).
