IPEX System 15®/System XFR® 15-50 Low VOC Cements
In a continual effort to improve our products for our customers and the environment, IPEX is pleased to introduce Low VOC cements to its PVC DWV systems for noncombustible constructions -- System 15® & System XFR® 15-50. These Low VOC products will replace the current Heavy Bodied and Medium Bodied cements used with System 15®/System XFR® 15-50.
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) are a large group of chemicals that omit gases that reduce air quality for human health and the environment. IPEX's reduced emission cements and primers have been tested to meet the requirements of SCAQMD Rule 1168, Test Method 316A (South Coast Air Quality Management District).
By utilizing our Low VOC materials, you are also eligible to claim on point on the LEED rating system from the Canadian/US Green Building Council.
